Citadel: Honey Bunny, the Indian adaptation of the Russo brothers is all set to premiere this Friday, November 7. While fans are super excited to see Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the spy actioner, we’ve noticed something amiss. Actor Saqib Saleem who is also part of the series was missing from both the show’s trailer launch and recently held premiere.

With just days left until the show premiers, the cast and crew of Citadel: Honey Bunny are busy promoting it on social media. However, Saqib Saleem has stayed away from doing any such action. The actor has neither made any posts related to the upcoming Varun Dhawan-Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer and neither was he present at the recent premiere.

His absence from the promotions has gotten Citadel fans talking and wondering where the actor is. Well, we have the answer. A look at the actor’s Instagram revealed he’s in Goa with friends and enjoying a vacation. While he enjoys the gateway, the actor has also been dropping cryptic posts since the trailer launch. Could this hint at tension with the makers? For those wondering, visuals of Saqib Saleem in Citadel: Honey Bunny have still not made their way online as glimpses of him were avoided in the trailer.

The series features Varun Dhawan and Samantha in the lead as well as Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Saqib Saleem, Sikandar Kher, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, and Kashvi Majmundar. Citadel: Honey Bunny is set to premiere on Prime Video in India on November 7.
